Why choose Studio Infinity to photograph your pet?

Hello and welcome to Studio Infinity. My name is Steve and I'm your photographer. I absolutely adore pet photography and interacting with the many pets that visit the studio. The most fascinating aspect of pet photography is reflecting the unique personality of each in a photograph. Taking a beautiful picture of your pet is the easy part but I like to go that one step beyond and create a lasting memory of your pet and its true personality.

For me, it's not just about photography. I have an active interest in increasing my knowledge in animal welfare and behaviour. With this is in mind I have just gained a distinction in my Canine Behaviour Training Diploma. I also have an excellent working relationship with many professionals in the animal world, from animals behaviour experts to experts in animal wellbeing. If you are experiencing difficulties with your pet, I can refer you to many experts who will be able to help you.

So if you're looking to create lasting memories of your furry friend(s), please take a look around and I can't wait to get meet you and your pet(s).

Here you will find answers to some of the most commonly asked questions. Hopefully these answers will clear up any queries you might have. If you  have any other questions, don't hesitate to send me an email at info@studioinfinity.co.uk

What should I expect at my pet photoshoot?

Our main goal is that both you and your pet(s) enjoy your session with us. Our sessions are very calm and relaxed. We understand that being in a new environment can have many effects on our pets. Some pets get super excited whilst others can get slightly wary about the situation. Before I start taking pictures of your furry friend(s), I give your pet(s) the time to settle and get used to the environment . I absolutely love dogs so there's a big chance you will find me on the floor playing and stroking your pet so they know there's nothing to worry about. I'm here to capture your pet(s) unique personality and that will only come out once they're happy. We got you covered :)

Should I bring dog treats or toys to my pet photoshoot?

Absolutely! At the studio we have various toys and treats for your pet(s) but we found that bringing along toys or treats they are familiar with will help them relax.

How long does a pet photoshoot take?

Our sessions are 30 min for our Bronze package and 1 hour  for the Silver and Gold packages. The first 5-10 min is all about making sure that both you and your pet(s) are settled in. I will explain the process of the session whilst your pet(s) is/are  getting familiar with the new environment. Once everyone is happy we can start with the photography.

How does the viewing work?

Straight after the session I will load all the images into the computer and you will be able to select your favourites. I will be on hand to help you with any questions you might have regarding the photographs or the Wall Art prints we offer. (Absolutely no pressured sales!)

Should I walk my dog prior to a pet photoshoot?

Yes! By getting your pet(s) ready to go out, they probably think they're going for a walk so if they get a good walk before arriving at the studio they will be more relaxed and will to follow our commands.

Can I or my kids jump in for some photographs with our pet(s)?

Yes! This is not a problem at all. There is nothing more beautiful than showing the bond between the dog and its owner(s).

How long will I have to wait for my  photos?

Once we finished the viewing and you selected your favourite images, I will begin the editing process. I inform all my clients that they should receive their images within a 1 - 3 week period. It all depends on how many images you select and if you select Wall Art Prints. The wait for your Wall Art prints depends on our supplier and the format of Wall Art prints you select.

Do you photograph pets other than dogs?

Yes I do! We have had a wide range of animals here at Studio Infinity. To date I photographed cats, spiders, snakes, frogs, meerkats, lizards, scorpions, skunks and a caiman!
